Good article, fair assessment. Y1 for King Kinlaw was not great, but he definitely flashed potential and showed his strengths and weaknesses. With a full offseason to work with, I suspect that Kocurek will mold him into a fine piece for us, at the very least.
I'm not as sure, but I think at the least he will be a good run defender. but man, he's pretty much starting from scratch as a pass-rusher. Will be interesting to see, but so far, not too encouraging... yet. Key word is yet.
Agreed on the “yet”. From what I’ve seen from Rich Madrid’s film analysis articles on NN, he has good moves, but his issue is he takes an extra opening step, which slows him down a TON. Again, an offseason with Kocurek will benefit him greatly.

Javon Kinlaw is such a dog, I’m not gonna pretend I didnt see this coming. He’s a beast
I personally think hes an absolute beast, ik Riqo has been suspect of him since draft day. But i keep my hope
Love the article. I think Kinlaw's style of play is hard to translate to the NFL, especially without training camp. I hope it works out, though
