Hmm. Honestly I hadn't even thought about Ryans. But I love the guy. He's a great (not good, great) leader. Always has been. I can't speak to his readiness, but he's for sure a culture fit.

Saleh had a lot of praise for him earlier this season. If Kocurek is staying at DL, and the DB coach is too inexperienced on this team to be promoted already, I think it’s gotta be Ryans right?

If it's a promo from within, yes, he's the logical choice. I read a long time ago that Kocurek has no interest in doing anything other than what he is now. He loves it too much.

Read the same thing. I think he will stay with us as long as he is a DL coach, this is what he does lol.

Aaron Donald was drafted at 13. Aiyuk in the mid-20s. You get the pick you get and pick the BPA. The Patriots and Steelers have done well for years without high picks.

Absolutely. It's not a necessity nor a terrible loss. But it is worth mentioning. - and it makes talent evaluation tougher - with more talent comes more leeway to get the pick right, sometimes you get it right anyways. Hopefully that is the case this season.
