How the actual fuck does the NFL, a multi-billion dollar corporation, run such a jackass operation that just ruins its most valuable assets? Not only can they not provide a safe playing surface—they fucking approved this surface for how many games a year?! When Mahomes does his acl on it, then they’ll do something. But by then ALL the best players, who play at the highest levels, at the very physical limits their bodies can take, will have knees and ankle injuries keeping them out of the game and leading to a shittier product.
The NFL is just run by a collective of Moronic Fucking Fucks.
Sorry for my potty mouth Riqo. I thought the team played well, and I haven’t given up on the season. Remember in 2015 when one of our guys did his acl on the concrete sidelines at the Rams game and he sued them (think it was a RB), and they said they’d make sure that it wouldn’t happen again? Tell that to Bosa, Thomas and Mostert.
I’m so upset right now, losing Bosa and Jimmy will hurt this team. Ford is a liability and cannot be counted on to step up, so our pass rush is gone. Jimmy was just starting to look like the guy we counted on in the past, hopefully he’s not out long, but high ankle sprains take months to properly heal; when I played ball it took him two months to get comfortable just to start running again; man I hope Jimmy is a fast healer.
I don't know about the season, but our Super Bowl shot is probably gone without Bosa. We could still be a playoff team, but I don't see us beating the handful of elite teams without him.
Add Tevin Coleman to the list of guys who will miss multiple weeks. I know people aren't high on him, but with Mostert we're suddenly looking pretty thin at our deepest position group.
OT what do you all think about tanking the season if we are at or below .500 after game eight? We could certainly benefit as we did with Jimmys ACL landing Bosa; or if we had a high enough pick, we could ask a kings ransom with the stud QBs coming out; meaning we can replenish all the gaps needed through the draft and cheaper contracts.
Well, this season is just going bad to worse, at least we got the W?
Idk if we can hold up against the Rams, Hawks, and Cardinals of the world.
I agree
With these injuries, chances are we are the cellar dweller team of the NFC West for 2020.
Good news is there's 3 Wild Cards so the whole NFCW can get in.
Yup - but it's going to be really tough. And our easy games are not so easy now with Jimmy gone. So we can't afford mistakes
We need more stadiums with real grass
Only stadiums with real grass.
Kyle just said that the players were calling the turf 'sticky' all game
not suprised. So much slipping.
<unset>

Our season is over. That sucked. I’ve never seen this many injuries.

To me, the season was the Super Bowl run. I truly didn’t spect us to get a ring this year, but I also didn’t expect us out of the chase by week two.
The rest of the season is not exciting now, in my book. Since the conclusion has already been written.
In this division, anything above 0.500 is a miracle
Hi. I hate life
same
