Last year's contenders looked like contenders again with largely the same team, except the 49ers.

Packers Saints Ravens KC all killed. 49ers should have too.

Hmmmm

This was Jimmy at his worst. I think yesterday was his floor. In fact, I'd say the same about Shanahan.

I'm disappointed. I know they will improve but I'm disappointed we now have to claw ourselves back to where we were last year rather than building upon it.

Something was up with Jimmy yesterday, it didn't look right, I'm thinking a mental breakdown or some issue from camp, who knows, but he looked off...

I can't bear to think what would happen if we lost to the Jets, but even a win I'm hoping to see some life back in Jimmy G.

Jimmy G is is too inconsistent and that's why KS dosen't trust him fully. So far, jimmy is two different QB-good jimmy and bad jimmy. But this is his his last season with us unless his consistency improves dramatically. Also KS need to loosen up some and let jimmy makes plays instead of always play inside the system. I think jimmy hold on to the ball because the system says your WR should be at a certain point but when they are not, jimmy gets confused. Instead let jimmy run out the pocket and by time or take off and get some easy running yards but instead he look for his spot and getting sacked in the process. Great write Up

Also RG3 destroyed KS on mobile QB, it why I think KS stays far away from the Jackson,Mahomes and Murray. Kyle is scared to get his QB knee destroyed so he keeps his QB in the pocket now

Nice article, Riqo... even if almost every word makes me despair for this season's fortunes. haha

But yeah, it's just week 1. I can go with that mantra to not be an over-reactionist.

For now.
