Funny thing with the Bell drama is that Gore is apparently having a great TC. I could see Gase playing him a bunch this year

I quite remember - way back in 2014 - I was fervently hoping that we'd hire Gase as our HC, with Fangio contining as the DC. Now I need to smack myself on the head, thinking how I did a lot of push-back, at that time, on to the Bronco fans who were openly stating that he'd a big bust as a HC wherever he goes

That Cardinals Team is looking mean, fast and dangerous. Their OL might be their achilles heel. The DBs are good as are their DEs and the LBs are no slouches.

But it's their passing game and Murray's elusiveness and big play skills that will cause us fits. It's a tough team to play, staright off the blocks

Yeah. Murray being mobile is a massive boon for that offense

Everytime I look at that Cardinals team I get chills - so reminiscent of the Seahawks (ellusive qb, very talented defense, OL is their weakness), it's freakishly similar.

I think both teams D are stronger than the opponents O (especially start of our season with injuries mounting) and you could argue their O is stronger than ours, at least at med-long range.

I'll scratch this game up to a battle of coaches. Shanahan wins as both HC and Offensive mind vs Defense coach and I think Saleh and his staff will fare better against Kingsbury. I say niners' coaches win the game.

I also expect a lot of dropped catches/interceptions on both teams. I'd bet on a defensive TD for both teams (someone give me the odds).

I love these great long articles Riqo. But you could double your content just by editing them into 2 parts. I think you could do a small “Around the NFC West, Around the League” article every day. And then the Game preview article separately. But that doesn’t stop me from reading/enjoying. Vale Chadwick Boseman.

I agree about splitting. It's nice and easy to read it all in one go, but the issue for me is I forget all the quality stuff at the start of the article when it comes to the comments, then I have to scroll up (and on mobile I can't do that as it closes the article in to a link - I can't have the article and comment section open at the same time).

I think we'd have more comments per day if these great articles stuck to a single thread/topic. We could all argue the toss over who had best/worst camp etc. And then start waxing lyrical on the rest of the league. Sometimes I only get 2 mins to check in on the articles and I don't have time to read it all in one go either, which means I forget what to comment on.

It's not a slight Riqo, if anything I think I prefer reading it all in one go - I'm just guessing (!) that it's reducing the number of comments.

Great stuff again, Riqo.
