While I have been an avid S. Thomas supporter, I am actually surprised that he may be the starter over Kinlaw. I can see where this may be helpful for Kinlaw to be eased into the NFL level of play, versus just being fed to the wolves, but it is still surprising. Can't wait for Sunday to see how it all plays out.
You betcha, Kinlaw as our back-up would be stellar and I would think that he could be one helluva back-up NT also. The one downside that I can think of is that Solly would finally be good and then gone to another team, since I don't think that there would be any way to resign him for next season.

Yup - if Thomas becomes a starter level player or more, this season just got a whole.lot better and so did our defense
