A friend asked whether I thought Jimmy being a year further from surgery etc and keeping the bulk of the defense together would help the team start stronger... I'd thought 8-0 was a pretty good start...

Jimmy's mobility should be way better this season.. and in 2017 that was his best trait.. he is gonna be good

That’s a nice article Riqo. As good as any TC summaries I’ve read on NN (I didn’t notice any typos tho). I feel better caught up on the news than following twitter one-liners etc.

The last few days, hoping to see some video of camp, I have clicked the Cohn clip in my youtube just to have his loudmouth squinty face too close to the camera yelling at me about who is too slow/waste of roster space/etc. I blocked the channel 😬, but this was waaaay better.

"With Deebo most likely out to start the season, and the disastrous Jalen Hurd injury, the WR hierarchy has undergone big changes."

Erm... Depends what you're comparing it to. Take our 2019 unit:

Swapped Sanders for Aiyuk

Swapped Deebo for, well, maybe no one if he's back wk1

Hurd wasn't on the team in 19, so no difference

Taylor is a great addition, I've never understood why so many fans dislike or don't rate the guy - he's going to be a huge safety valve and a favourite target, with solid hands.

Bourne 3.0, new and improved

Doghouse Pettis replaced with Rookie Pettis with more muscle, less fear

Richie James never really played WR

We now have an exciting rookie in JJ, who is slow but powerful and YAC monster (his 40 is identical to Juszczyk btw, noting Juice is a vet now and slower than asva rookie)...

It's not that different, it may even be better, at least compared to first half of last season. Certainly not a disaster (yet), don't write them off yet.

I meant just the Hurd injury as disastrous, the WR depth has changed a lot is what i meant. Doesnt mean it is bad.

Yeah... But that's not as easy to argue with 😂

Got to start a debate by misinterpreting what people say, if I've learned anything from politics it's that.

That and straight out lies are acceptable... and well researched and thought out contrary points of view are fake news. Yeah, I think that's it.

The fan rating of our wide receiver core looks like the EKG of a dolphin on meth.

KB has to be one of my favorite players. He hasn't been perfect. One Jimmy G INT was a ball that KB must of thought was an errant volleyball he bated to a defender. I can't forget that one, but he's typicaly solid when needed to be. He's not Deebo or Kittle play making exciting, but he has gotten way more hate than he ever deserved.

Joshua Garnett in Red and Gold again would be a lil' surreal. As a rotund fellow myself, I rooted for that chubby [site decorum] to lose weight and make the team so bad. Not so thrilled about the prospect of him coming in to patch up the line before week 1.

Seeing Kilgore's name again gives me a panic attack. Keep Dr Doom off the o-line, please.

I'd rather see Kilgore than Garnett

WRs will be fine as we have some good options. But it is the OL that gives me a huge concern. Garland's injury is not at all ideal. And we'd be extremely hard-pressed to get a C at this stage of the season
