As expected great breakdown Riqo. What I really loved to see from Lance was that he stood in and moved well in the pocket while pressure was in his face, and didn't book it he kept his eyes downfield and made the pass. That's something a lot of qbs struggle to do. Instead of keeping their eyes downfield they run for it and try to make a play with their legs instead of sticking to the pass. Also it definitely looks like some plays from our offense in those gifs its encouraging to see.

Excellent Breakdown, and great references to KS system (both present and past). KS will not commit, to a QB he doesn't feel can execute his offense (even limited) effectively day one. This makes sense, why he sought after CJB, as he was experienced in a pro-style offense and played under center. Lance is this, plus all the physical traits, and important nuance, to excel under KS's tutelage. This is having Cam Newton, without the footwork issues to correct (MVP cam). Lance's ceiling can be higher, as the league has skewed toward high scoring offense, and QB protections (finally for mobile QBs too). Excellent work Riqo. Will you have a summary comparison, after finishing the Draft prospects/Jimmy lower-case g breakdowns ? Thanks again for the hard work. Look forward to supporting the new site

Awesome write-up and exactly what I've seen from him too. I'm trying to not get my hopes up with him, but if we do end up drafting him, I think Lance in Shanahan's offense is going to be a perfect match for a decade.

What are the chances he is actually available where we are drafting? Seems like this would require a big trade up.

If we are picking top 10, we should be in range. The thing is recency bias with Lance - Zach Wilson has overtaken him in the QB rankings, and i've never seen 4 QBs go in the top 10. As of right now, assuming we pick ahead of the Falcons and Vikings, the only teams that would need a QB in front of us are the Jets, WFT, and Jacksonville.

We benefit a ton from recency bias and also this class being so strong. The non-QB talent is also insane, so there are teams that won't trade down and pick a non-QB anyways.

I'm already sold before reading part 2.

Count me in on the Trevor Lawrence train.
