Lol, we had this argument on NN before SBN killed it. Jamal Adams sucks in coverage! That is all. ;)

But seriously, thanks R-nator. All this trade potential is just too much for my little head to get around. If we traded Coleman and Pettis to NO ...?

NO has asked for a 1st round pick!!! for Kamara. That tells me that they dont plan on trading him, since a 1st for an injury prone RB who wants a new contract? not happening

The thing is, as good as Adams is, I just have absolute confidence that Shanny can read him like a grade3 book. I still remember how he had Keuchly jumping up and down in frustration last year when we wiped the Panthers. I think Adams will be just as effective. But that’s only thinking about us/our coach. As far as helping Seattle through the season, well, I guess he’ll win the games they don’t deserve. Bastard.😉

well in hindsight now Keuchly might not have even been 100% sure where he was.

Easy on that Seattle love lol. Seattle stars are old or getting old. Fred Warner was equal to Wagnor last year but warner is getting better and Wagner is getting older. Same with Russell and jimmy.

Metcalf has a very small route tree but he does them well. Difference is, teams have film now and will take those routes away then what? Seattle is a house of cards to me, good if it holds but will completely collapse if a card is removed. Niners are much deeper in the depth department and in this league depth matters.

It amazing how much talent is up for trade, it really will feel more the nba/mlb or madden dare I say then ever before. Shitty thing is we don't need any of them just wish we could a few of them lol.

added a little bit at the end just now... just to make it clear. Seattle has no long-term future at all, outside of Adams if they keep him. and their draft picks are all gone. they are banking on massive steps up from a ton of young players, and i dont know if thatll happen.

im gonna have to stop you with the Warner = Wagner haha, Warner is on his way but they are not close yet. Wagner is just on another level atm.

Metcalf... i never really cared about his route running. at one point, when you are that physcially gifted and have the work ethic, itll work out. Metcalf is going to be rlly good, although not a full WR (ie: Julio, MT, Hopkins)

and yeah, its incredible the amount of talent available. the NFL has definitely taken notes seeing the coverage NBA and MLB have.

Metcalf-NFL defenses will adjust, his physical attributes will not over come that but more routes would. There been alot big, fast WR in the league but how many flamed out after realizing that wasn't enough. I'm not saying he will be a bust but the sophomore slump exists for a reason.

I can't remember this much talent ever being on the block in the NFL, much less before the season is about to start. Rosters are going to be messy this year. Just a hunch. Also fuck the overrated Hawks and their trash fan base. 19-0 Feels great baby!!!

Comment and a question.

Comment: Good job Riqo, appreciated.

Question: Did you need a shower after all that Seahawk love?

You're vastly overrating Seattle's moves. They weren't a box safety away from being an SB contender nor does signing Clowney make them so. Certainly doesn't make their roster competitive with the Niners. Other than vastly overpaying for a SS (albeit a great one, but one who plays a position of lower value than most), they upgraded one CB spot (a guy who hasn't done much of note save for 2/3 of a season before landing on IR, his second year in a row) and added a couple of geriatrics in Irvin and Olsen.

Wilson has been and will continue to be the reason their team hangs around the playoff contender conversation. They aren't in the same class RE SB contender as the Niners or the other top teams in the NFC/AFC. Just because we play each other close doesn't mean squat RE the rest of the league. Cardinals make a show of it every year lol.

thanks! 100% - Wilson is the reason, maybe the only reason Seattle is anywhere in the discussion. My argument is more centered around Adams and Clowney being added to this roster along with their other moves makes them better than last year. Do I think they are a SB contender? No, but they are going to be in the playoffs, and with a QB like that, anything can happen, you know.

But you are right, they are not a safety/DE and other marginal moves away from being a SB contender, especially with that O-line. Wilson is just something else.
