Reviewing John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan's performance in 2018, as well as updates on injury statuses for Week 4. Plus, COVID-19 takes a spotlight as the Tennessee Titans have an outbreak.
And might I add, it's a shame that we did not even consider someone like Sutton in the 2nd round - Pettis is a monumental bust. Can't even get on the field.
Lynch is great at identifying late talent but he seems to be terrible at it early. At least Bosa and Kinlaw seem to be changing that. As will Aiyuk.
We couldn't consider Sutton in the second because Denver drafted him in the first.
Let's call it a learning curve for ShanaLynch's early round picks. All indications are 2019 and 2020 have corrected that apparent trend. Regardless. It took them 3 years (less actually) to turn one of the worst rosters in the league into one of the deepest. I find it hard to sit around complaining about the misses with so many hits to enjoy.
You guys... "I wanted (drops name of player that has succeeded)." How about you mention the ones you wanted that bombed? Everything was fine. We made the Super Bowl. So Pettis is a miss... name one team that didn't "miss" on half their draftees.
I hated the McGlinchey pick and still do. Derwin James, Minkah Fitzpatrick, so much defensive talent we could have taken instead.
I personally wanted Lamar Jackson lol. Hated being right about that. James is a freak of nature, but also super injured.

I'm still not sold on Kinlaw but he has been super encouraging. The troubling trend is in the middle rounds, 2-3 range.

Denver drafted him about 4 picks ahead of Pettis in the 2nd
Point taken 😅

Have one Mini.

Not gonna happen. Ever. It's this thing called selective memory.
DGB, Jarrett Stidham, Arden Key - I've had a ton of misses. Just fun to think about and interesting to look back with hindsight 20/20
