From what I've been reading between PFF and overthecap, its definitely not a done deal that Baltimore is going to be able to recoup the guaranteed money from Thomas for conduct detrimental. This will be interesting because if they are on the hook for his $10,000,000 this year, they have offset clauses to reimburse them. So, in the case that Thomas wins his appeal, a vet minimum signing is all but guaranteed, why would Thomas hurt the team hes going to and help the team that just cut him? Would the prospect of facing Seattle twice, Baltimore in the superbowl, and getting reunited with Sherm be enough to dissuade him from joining the Cowboys?
Adding Thomas on a league minimum contract when the Rams gave up 2 1sts for Adams would be the ultimate slap in the face to that organization, and just imagine the seahawks fans tears, when we have all pro Thomas and Sherman giving them fits for pennies on the dollar.
There is no way we can afford Thomas (ET). There is a lot more than meets the eye in his case; the Ravens are a well-run organization and they have dealt with radioactive characetrs before, giving most of them sufficient rope. But in the case of ET, the realtionship has gone down the tube and it is not just because of 1 or 2 incidents
None of those WRs impress me. And they wuld never get up to speed that quickly with Shanny's playbook except maybe Gabriel. Would rather stay with what we have and ride the pine. Aiyuk and Deebo both will be back sooner. We already added "three" WRs in the past few weeks aand we want one moe guy? No thanks
I'm concerned about having a weak middle as it's a clear weakness to attack, but with outside zone and Jet we might be able to play around it for first few weeks
Solly going gainst a weakened IOL - a guy who is practising Center for the first time, a rookie at RG and a journeyman backup at RG? Yeah well, colour me unimpressed
Jet, and a healthy Jordan Reed now in the mix, I'm see the NFL's best 22 personnel package, maybe ever. Nobody runs something that looks like what that would. Which means nobody can practice against it. I gotta think Shanahan is salivating at the thought of what he can call with the two above combined with Kittle and Juice and Aiyuk or Deebo outside.
The best part is Woerner has also been doing a nice job receiving too. He showed that on his college tape too, so I was hopeful, but he had so few chances it was hard to be sure. He's a good athlete (not Kittle, but very good for a TE) and shows soft natural hands. I see him passing Dwelley early. This highlight was from Barrows:
"Rookie tight end Charlie Woerner enjoyed his most prominent day of training camp, catching three passes from Garoppolo, including a 20-yarder that he athletically high-pointed in the middle of the field."
I’d go with Davis since he has the most upside
for sure. Davis might be the best player on that list as well, 900 yards is no joke

You're just full of sunshine today, aren't you. LOL.
Ha, ha, ha!! I'm not worried about either the WR group or the DL. Center is the one that gives me a bit of a concern
Truth dat,.

True, but Laken has played outstanding so far... either way its good

If Jordan Reed is good to go, then that takes a huge load off Kittle. Woerner has been an effective blocker and that should also be useful for us

Kittle, Reed, Woerner, Juszczyk, McKinnon, Mostert, TeCo plus maybe Dwelley and Hasty.
That's a serious package there. A scorpion's tail of a backfield!
Time to give TO a look. He’s ready! And let’s bring back Alex for covid back up while we’re at it. Who’s with me?
