Unrefined: Has Jet opened up the flaps? No aviation-grade fuel? Bad flight plan? What’s happened to him?

I think in general, his knee injuries paired with not playing for a really long time hurt him. You are right, he is nowhere near as fast as what he was

With Steelers LB Devin Bush out, would a Kwon alexander trade be feasible? IDK about cap and all that

Had the same idea. Keep an eye out today for an article.

Loved the dive in to potential RB pickups Riqo and I've never considered JJ as a RB. Not sure how he'd cope but would like to him in somehow this season (through talent, not injury).

I do feel sorry for Jus though, he's had big plays taken from his grasp on multiple occasions. I could see him think "damn, not again" when that pass sailed over him.

And 'Bounce Back Jimmy' was something one of our members pointed out Sunday (and picked up in broadcast) - Jimmy's never lost 2 in a row and he's continued that streak. It's a good 'stat' to have, let's hope it's a real thing.

First half felt like last year - we've had 2nd halves like that before too, so yeah wasn't great but the team looked and felt right, which gives me hope rather than utter dispair from last week. Got to enjoy the wins when they happen!

Agree Jimmy's miss to Juice was slightly troubling but it was further down his progressions which reduces time plus the ankle piece. Mullens was his first read (IIRC) and no ankle so getting a bit more stick feels fair.

I also wondered about the defense being more familiar with scheme but that should have worked both ways, no?

I thought Coleman was only a week or two away - although given recent accuracy of returns, I can see your point.

Lastly - one thing I hate about commenting here is that I can't then scroll up and reread/quote something from the article/comments without opening another window... is there anything you can do to stop the main article disappearing when you click on more comments?

I hate that too. Think Riqo looking to fix it for the new platform next year but this isn't amendable on this substack platform.

Good point about Rams D, but maybe Shanahan is better at adapting to this D than McVay is?

And, I'm not sticking it to Jimmy for the Jus miss, I'm just sorry for Jus. He doesn't get many catches or TDs in a season and he missed out on some big achievements so far. If it was Kittle I wouldn't care so much, but poor Jus blocks all day and missed out on getting some big yards and a potential long TD. That's all. Poor bloke. With his millions...
