I'd trade Pettis for Love is a second. Problem is, I don't think there's any way the WTF would.

he's the 4th RB on the roster rn - and not even active. We could even throw them Hasty i guess - but it would be a W-W. Pettis would instantly be WR2 for them - and the development of haskins is key

Maybe so. Wish we'd do it.

Interesting you mentioned Hasty. The rumor I heard during Training Camps was WTF was one of two or three teams that would pounce on Hasty if we waved him.

If I say Pettis isn’t going anywhere, then Pettis will get traded. And I don’t want him traded. I want us to keep him around for PR and depth. So Pettis isn’t going anywhere and we will keep winning.

I wish Pettis would get a real shot because we know he can get open - but if Jimmy wont throw it - what can one do? My guess is once James Jr returns - its bye bye for Pettis.

I guess it's at least worth considering that Pettis lit it up with Mullens at QB once upon a time. Maybe the two of them click?

definitely a possibility - at this point Pettis needs a real shot, its unfair to expect him to play well with zero targets, snaps etc. - Mullens trusts him much more.

Moves this week?

Wave Compton, keep Grasu on the 53. Dress Ansah? Promote Daniels and Jordan?

I like the idea of signing Wake personally. I get his age, but the guy's in stupidly good shape and still plays younger than his years.

yup - Wake is a technique guy and would be a veteran presence which we lack - our longest tenured DL is Armstead (at least in their 49ers career) ATM. Ansah brings the physical talent, Wake the technique and fundamentals (and hes athletic too).

I like the idea of keeping Grasu over Compton as Garland can play both G and C. Grasu seemed to play pretty well in week 1.

Same here - Compton is done. Grasu was the highest rated pass protector not named Trent Williams and its not like the Cards defense is bad.

Hasty and Daniels will be promoted on Game Day. If they IR Coleman then Hasty can straight away take his spot. If they don't IR Coleman then Hasty comes up from PS and goes back there

Ansah takes one of ST and Bosa's spots, leaving one more spot to be filled.

Daniels might not be used for taking up the other spot. This spot could be either Grasu or CJB.

This could be CJB if JG is not good to go.

I also think we are going to IR Ford then they might take a hard look at any other veteran, like Wake or Matthews

Coleman and Ford both will likely go on IR

I think wake is otw but who knows

We are going to get 4 roster spots opened, one of which Ansah will be taking up

So I was out with my daughter this morning, she is 4. But we all live on a cul-de-sac where everyone knows everyone. My good buddy pulled up behind us, the one I usually go to Niners games with, and he’s had a hell of a year.

Long story short, his wife died recently. She was 44. And that was about a month ago.

So me and him are just talking about this season, hoping that we had respite from the insanity, and where we are. Dead in the water after week two

Fuck 2020. Fuck it to hell.
