Super Bowl LV: Predictions from FTN Staff
The New vs. Old, as the new "chosen" one plays the old one - as Tampa tries to become the first team ever to win the Super Bowl at home.
I’d like to take this opportunity to say, I don’t want to have to root for anyone in this game. But I can’t stand the Chiefs, so Brady… pull it off, one more time. Please.
Anyways, some quick predictions from FTN Staff.

TB 27 v. KC 30Â - Shanafandom
It’s hard to feel amazing about the Bucs. Brady is the GOAT of the era and the Bucs are a well balanced team. That lost to the Chiefs in the regular season. Mahomes is so hard to stop with all of his weapons, and it really makes up for KC having a worse defense than TB. The Bucs win by dominating with their pass rush and slowing the game down. While not getting screwed by the refs. I really hope that happens, but I doubt it.
TB 27 v. SF 24Â - Patrick Holloway
Yes, I'm going against all logic and making a Bucs win. I'm still salty about how last year's Super Bowl ended and rooting for the Bucs. That has nothing to do with my prediction. The cards are aligned for Tom Brady to go off into the sunset as the best quarterback to play the game, the only way to do that is winning a Super Bowl with a team that has no affiliation with Bill Belichick. I think the incidents the Chiefs coaching staff has had over the weekend with DUI and the fact they are here in back to back years is going to run some psychological stuff where they might get a bit a head of themselves.Like I said, there's no logic to this. The Chiefs should win, but I'm a homer, and I can't stand several players on that squad so I'm just going to predict a Bucs win.
TB 33 v. KC 30Â - Riqonator
Prediction: I think Mahomes will look very mortal today. He’s looked mortal multiple times this season - especially against the Patriots and Raiders. The Chiefs defense doesn’t give me any confidence, and I think the Buccaneers plethora of weapons is going to overwhelm Spagnuolo’s crew. It depends on Brady’s performance, and it’s the Super Bowl. I’m not going to bet against Brady, and I don’t want to either.
TB 21 v. KC 22Â - El Shorts
Chiefs win 22-21 - I had a dream that I missed the Super Bowl and that Patrick Mahomes led a final game winning drive to take the SB in the last possession of the game. Regardless of that, I think the Chiefs are a better and more consistent team than the Bucs right now and that it will be hard for Brady to overcome that.
TB 17 v. KC 24Â - Sporty Miner
I don't want to bet against Brady but Reid's Chiefs are all firepower and as we know that is hard to overcome. Brady will never give up and I wouldn't be surprised to see a comeback and many QBs will be a bit daunted going up against the GOAT, but Mahomes' confidence won't be swayed. In fact, the whole Chiefs team exude confidence and that in itself will carry them to another Lombardi. Don't expect Brady to get more than 2 passing TDs and be wary of a lot of quick passes from Mahomes with his 2 tackles missing tonight. Both teams will try to install a run game but I suspect both will start airing it out when they realises they're not getting points on the board. Outside of the obvious star players, I think Hardman and Miller will have good games for their respective teams - Super Bowls are often won on plays/strategies that the other team haven't seen on tape and I think there's a chance these two have a bigger role than usual.
Just an honorable mention to my family...
My grandfather picked Bucs to win 30-10 pre-kickoff
Loved the officiating crew, where were they last year.
