O-Line was horrible. If they play like that vs the Rams Donald is gonna have 10 sacks

yup. Trent looked terrible, McGlinchey looked awful. What a terrible performance across the board.

We are not a playoff team this season. Hopefully with the high-ish pick we do well in the draft

Been saying this. Against good competition, or even average comp, we have to play so well everywhere just to compete. jimmy will change things, but against teams like Saints or Seahawks? Won't matter.

The season is over. We are done. There is no god. We all go into oblivion when we die.

Which part? Pettis in the doghouse or our season being over after week two?

Shanny can’t ignore the o line anymore

Nope. For a top 10 pick, McGlinchey is soooooo disappointing.

Quick thoughts, but then I'm gone because I'm super tired and barely slept last night

Mullens had guys open and missed. Yeah he's a backup so expectations are obviously lowered. But there were easy throws he should have made, and those picks were horrendous. This doesn't mean Beathard is better, he was against soft coverage the entire time. I just hope Jimmy is somehow ready vs Miami but I doubt it. If he were better at QB, we win easily.

The tackles sucked. Williams looked good all year, so not too worried about him. I am about Glinch. Rub blocking wasn't good either.

Dontae Johnson sucks. We need healthy corners again

Armstead was getting pressure all night. Best player on defense

Kittle looked pretty good, even though that drop really sucked. Deebo and Aiyuk had plays. Once we can get a guy to actually throw again (Jimmy) we have weapons

In a tight division, this hurts. Arizona looking less threatening is nice. Rams and Seahawks still very scary, even with a bad day for the Rams offense

Glinch scares me. A lot. Sherman being back will be massive lol

Dontae Johnson played better than anyone should have expected. Only gave up one play, and he actually had pretty decent coverage, Wentz just dropped a perfect throw.

This was depressing. Made way too many mistakes and lost this one in embarrassing fashion. While it's probably true that we win this with our healthy squad, we still had the chance to win it and we just blew it. This one hurts because there's not going to be a lot of "easy wins" left in our schedule. Pray for our guys to get healthy soon and for us to figure this out.

Too many damn injuries to sustain success right now. Why so many injuries...ugh.

We'd be 4-0 with mediocre QB play. I can't put into words how frustrating that is.

Absolutely. Just need to hope that Jimmy can maintain that level of play in the future.

McGlinch played like Dumbo on ice skates; Trent, who once played like a witchdoctor under a full moon, had no mojo at all; Bruns was a kid among men; Kittle muffed the one pass, the 2-point conversion, that would've made it a field goal game at the end instead of a touchdown game; Mullens picked this game to have the right side of his brain go on vacation; the secondary play (Dontae Johnson for crying out loud) had one of those games that leaves you yearning for the good ole Joe Woods coaching days. Unless KS has a genie to rub out of forgotten lamp this season is headed for the boggy moors.

Hit it on the head. Though I think CJB coulda easily ran that in for a 2pt conversion instead of Kittle. But you are right - everything but Kittle basically went wrong.

Even playcalling was mediocre. STOP RUNNING on 1st down for the love of god. It's telegraphed and painfully ineffective especially without Mostert. McGlinchey is fast approaching bust territory, being brutally honest.

Mullens looked awful, and with him being a FA this year I was hoping he’d remain hot; that way we could trade him for a pick, maybe even a 3rd but that’s gone now. Also, two games behind Seattle and even with the extra wild card slot, we’re in swamp waters and sinking fast; as that schedule after Miami is brutal. If we’d just executed we’d be 4-0 right now.
